"Resist! Exist!"

Among the 6 million Palestinians living in diaspora worldwide, roughly 233,000 call the United States home.

As a daughter of Palestinians who were expelled from their homes during the Nakba in 1948. One town called "Hittin"

was depopulated, and another "Nahef", was colonized. 

The Palestinian resistance means many things, to me, resistance means safeguarding our cultural essence—our language, cuisine, and heritage—as a means to counter assimilation and uphold my roots.

 

In essence, it’s about resisting a life devoid of truth.
